The story
The observation that started it.
Most operations software is written by people who have never used it at 4:30pm on a Friday. You can tell. The buttons sit in the wrong places, the reports answer last year's question, and the notifications fire when nobody is looking. Meanwhile started from a different observation: the damage in an operation rarely happens at the moment of decision. It happens in the quiet middle, between a thing being decided and anyone willing to call it done. That middle is where the software should live.
What we believe
Fewer tools, more memory, shorter sentences.
Teams are drowning in software that shouts for attention and forgets what happened last Tuesday. The usual remedy (another dashboard, another notification) makes it worse. Our bet: a single quiet system of record, with a colleague-shaped agent running through it, beats seven loud tools every time. Write the operating manual before the code. Keep iterations small enough to hold in one person's head. Pick the bit that is most fun to get right, and do that bit properly.
What we do
Three strands of the same work.
Endeavour is the software: a database-first operations platform built on Frappe v16, for teams of five to fifty who would rather use one calm tool than seven loud ones. Operator is the embedded assistant that lives inside it; it reads the file before the meeting, remembers last month, and says so when it does not know. Alongside the product we take on a small amount of editorial and consulting work: one-page operating manuals, ingestion engagements, custom Operator deployments. The three strands feed each other; none makes sense alone.
